How does Lipo work?

• The Lipo system creates vibrations with ultrasound around 25 kHz, which means 25,000 oscillations per second.
• These vibrations create a microbubble of vacuum in the fat cell.
• The friction that occurs between the fat cell and the vacuum bubble quickly heats the fat cell, causing it to be destroyed.
• The destroyed fat cells are then absorbed by the lymphatic system and flushed out naturally.
• It gives noticeable results after one treatment, you will see that 2-5 cm of the waist will decrease after the treatment.
• Better effect will appear within 8-12 weeks.

What is MMFU?

MMFU stands for micro- and macro-focused ultrasound and the technique is sometimes called HIFU, high-intensity focused ultrasound. With high precision, the tissue is heated to the exact depth you want to affect, e.g. 3 or 4.5 mm. The heating provides a biological stimulation that causes skin tightening, collagen formation, tightening of the deep fascia and reduction of the fat layer depending on the depth you work at.

Which areas can be treated with HIFU 12 D?

The treatment is approved to treat the skin around the forehead and eyebrows, along the jawline, under the chin, on the neck and décolleté and can also be used for skin tightening on the arms, legs and stomach.

Is HIFU a safe method?

Ultrasound has been used in medicine for over 50 years and 7D HIFU PRO has been proven safe and effective in clinical studies. Ultrasound for skin tightening has been used in over half a million treatments worldwide. HIFU PRO 4 is the latest development in ultrasound treatment, the same type of technology as Ultherapy.

Does HIFU treatment hurt?

When the HIFU treatment is performed, you may experience some pain and discomfort, but compared to other treatments, it is highly tolerable. After the treatment, there is no pain.

Are there any side effects?

You may experience slight redness in the first few hours after treatment, and it is common to have slight swelling or a tingling sensation for a couple of weeks. Small bruises and slight loss of sensation may also occur, but this is unusual. Such symptoms disappear within 2-4 weeks after treatment. This is something you should keep in mind especially if you are having HIFU treatment on your face if you are booked.
